WARFACE ADDS BRAND-NEW MAP FOR ITS BREAKNECK GAMING MODE BLITZ
July update brings new weapons, a new rank and expanded regional server support
Friday, July 14, 2017 — Global publisher My.com is pleased to announce a new update for Warface which includes a long-awaited map for the Blitz mode, a new set of weapons and a new rank. My.com has also expanded its system of regional servers globally to include the opening of it first regional server dedicated to the Asian market.
The fan favorite PvP mode Blitz, where teams have 90 seconds to either defuse or to protect the bomb planted in the center of the map, today recieves the addition of an all-new map titled “Residence”. Set in a luxury villa of Oberon White, the main antagonist of Warface and "money and brain" behind entire Blackwood operation, teams must protect stored explosives from Blackwood special forces. Special attention must be paid to key positions, as the team that occupies the villa will receive a serious advantage. Residence is sure to challenge players with its unique tactical setup, full of convenient places for team ambushes and intense close-range battles.
Additionally, two new weapons will be available. The ZX84 A5 Custom is a lightweight, high-performance submachine gun that features a unique Fast Zoom scope with a broader field of view. With the Atheris GQ50 sniper rifle, the enemy will be eliminated with a single shot – no protective gear will save them at close and medium ranges. The maximum rank’s been raised to 84 – Enter Vityaz, Major of the Heralds of Death.
My.com continues to expand its system of regional servers globally with the additional of the new server dedicated for the Asian market. The new server is the latests development in My.com on-going effort to provide the most comfortable game experience for its players worldwide. The two primary servers are in Europe and North America. With the first regional server in Hong Kong, players in South, East and Southeast Asia can now play at a much lower ping, leading to a better experience altogether. Now, residents of Asia can choose the nearest server with the fastest connection and play with other users from their region. This launch will also be accompanied by the introduction of Chinese localization.
